That’s What She Said is a powerful poetry collective of women each with their own story to tell

That's What She Said

Expect Cliterature spoken word performances from our 6 member strong collective. Sharing experiences through spoken word, including a wide range of feminist topics including: domestic abuse, sexual violence, the menopause, body image, health, sex, beauty standards, parenting, being a parent-carer, mental health, smashing sterotypes and raising every day experiances of the patriarchy. Our aim is sharing solidarity whilst raising money.

There will also be a 1 hour open mic of feminist Cliterature to end the evening.

Doors- 2.30pm, event starts 3pm, ends 6.30pm. You can enjoy alcoholic and soft drinks from the bar throughout.

We will be upstairs (there is no lift, apologies)

The Good Girl is Revolting

She was taught to stay quiet and small. Not anymore.

A sharp, funny and honest spoken word show about women taking up space and reclaiming their voice. Raised to keep the peace, Anne-Marie learned early that staying small meant staying safe – but at what cost? Drawing on her experience of growing up around domestic violence, she unpicks the invisible rules that teach girls and women to be polite, quiet and accommodating. But no more. The good girl is revolting.
